There are three possibilities of transportation to Tbilisi:  Train, Bus and Taxi

Train

The Airport railway station is the cheapest and the easiest means of transportation as it connects Tbilisi central railway station with the airport. It is located 70 meters from the airport building. The new station is of a modern architectural style. It has a semi-circular design decorated with golden windows. On its facade there is a laser clock. Comfortable trains made in Georgia run on the railway lines. Each of them has a capacity of 100 passengers. With the new train station passengers can now get to the airport in 20 minutes. One way fare is 0, 50 GEL.

Bus

Public bus stop is located in front of the Arrival hall and provides passenger transportation on route # 37 – Airport-Tbilisi city center – Airport. Working hours – 24/7. During day-time from 07:00 until 22:00 it has 15 minutes interval and from 22:00 o’clock 30 minutes interval. One way fee is 0.50 GEL

Taxi

Taxi service at Tbilisi International Airport is available outside the terminal, just at the curbside of the Arrival Hall and provides 24 hour service to the passengers. The journey time to the city center takes 20-30 minutes dependent on traffic. Taxi fee is 25 GEL from the airport to the city center.

The other cheaper possibility (if you have several minutes to wait) of using a Taxi service not only to get from Airport to city center but also drive inside the city is ”Taxify‘‘. It is one of the smartest and easiest way to move around the city if you have two things: Internet in your smartphone to get the application for iPhone or Android and money to pay after you reach the destination.

Inside the city there are also three possibilities of transportation: Bus (One way fee is 0.50 GEL), Microbus (One way fee is 0.80 GEL) and City Underground ”Metro” (One way fee is 0.50 GEL)
